What color will the water be?

One of the most repeated questions among our clients is, what color will the water in my pool be? The answer to this question is that the color of the water will depend on several factors, the color of the material used, the depth of the pool and the amount of light that falls on it. Although as a general rule will tend to bluish colors, and this is due to a physical phenomenon called Rayleigh scattering, which is that the reflection of light in water with depths greater than 50cm produces more reflection in the short wavelengths, between those that predominate the blue tones of the spectrum.
